Global Delivery Head - ERP Application (15-22 Yrs) Bangalore/Chennai (Others)

ROLE OBJECTIVE : - You will manage one or more agile projects, typically to deliver a specific product or transformation via a multi-disciplinary, highly skilled digital team.
-Youll be adept at delivering complex digital projects, breaking down barriers for your team and both planning at a higher level and getting into the detail to make things happen when needed.
-Budget handling more than 100Million USD - Team handling more than 250 PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES : - Deliver projects and products using the appropriate agile project management methodology, learning & iterating frequently - Work with the Product Manager to define the roadmap for any given product and translate this into user stories - Lead the collaborative, dynamic planning process - prioritising the work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of the team - Matrix-managing a multidisciplinary team - Ensure all products are built to an appropriate level of quality for the stage (alpha/beta/production) - Develops plans for work that are used to capture and report actuals, estimates and forecast dates. Ensures plans accepted and accurate and that the milestones and dependencies are managed.
-Anticipates delays and cost overruns through milestone, issue and risk management. Avoids surprises. Completes a standard engagement status report at least every two weeks.
-Uses standard processes and tools for work planning, financial management, portfolio reporting, and issue, risk and change management.
-Governs contract-stipulated accountabilities for both Avanade and Customer.
-Drives standardization, quality and productivity improvement through industrialization and quality practices and standards.
-Develops realistic work estimates, financial budgets and timelines. Monitors performance to ensure that financials and staffing for the project are on schedule.
-Creates a participative work environment, balancing the development needs of team members with the requirements of the project.
-Sets clear expectations for project team and provides regular formal feedback. SKILLS & QUALIFICATION : - Proven experience in delivering digital projects and products - Proven experience using a range of agile project management methods - Proven experience balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity - Understanding of the digital landscape - Experience in matrix-managing multi-disciplinary teams - Analyze and troubleshoot delivery issues in a timely fashion.
-Manage a delivery team to ensure timely and accurate customer deliveries.
-Oversee daily activities of delivery team and provide direction and guidance as needed.
-Perform resource allocations and workload assignments according to delivery requirements.
-Ensure that team maintains high level of competence and operational excellence.
-Evaluate the performance of team members and determine training needs.
-Serve as primary contact for customer inquiries and concerns.
-Analyze customer orders, set delivery priorities and make schedule adjustments to meet timely delivery goals.
-Perform customer negotiations for delivery rates.
-Develop process improvements to achieve cost effectiveness and time saving.
