Responsibilities :Customer Acquisition :- Identify and pursue potential new customers in the logistics and transportation industry.- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.- Visit client offices to introduce the company s services and discuss potential business opportunities.Sales and Quote Management :- Collect customer requirements and provide tailored quotations for services based on their needs.- Ensure timely follow-ups and conversion of leads into successful partnerships.- Coordination with Business Development Manager- Work closely with the Business Development (BD) Manager to understand market trends and customer needs.- Take leads from the BD manager and assist in developing strategies to convert those leads into customers.Lead Generation :- Identify new leads and opportunities within the logistics and transportation industry.- Conduct market research to spot trends and potential areas of growth.Business Growth :- Contribute to the overall growth of the logistics business by targeting new sectors, expanding current partnerships, and enhancing customer satisfaction.- Develop strategies to increase the customer base and retain existing clients.Reporting & Feedback :- Provide regular reports on sales activities, lead status, and business development initiatives.- Offer feedback on customer needs and competitor activities to the BD manager for market positioningRequirements :- Proven experience in marketing, sales, or business development, preferably in the logistics and transportation industry.- Strong communication and negotiation skills.- Ability to identify and understand customer needs, and translate them into actionable solutions.- Self-driven, proactive, and goal-oriented with a passion for growing business opportunities.- Ability to work well both independently and within a team environment.- Willingness to travel for customer visits and meetings.
