Our catalog is the backbone of our marketplace, and we are committed to making it robust, scalable, and efficient.Role Overview:We are seeking a Senior Cataloging Lead to standardize, streamline, and manage our cataloging processes on the Magento platform. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in cataloging for e-commerce, particularly in industrial supplies. In addition to hands-on cataloging, you will lead and mentor a team to ensure efficiency, consistency, and accuracy.As a consultant initially, this role offers immense growth potential. Based on your performance, you may transition to a full-time position.Key Responsibilities:Process Standardization : Develop and implement a standardized cataloging process to reduce errors and rework. Define and document cataloging workflows, templates, and best practices. Documentation skill is a must.Catalog Management : Manage the creation, update, and maintenance of product data for our Magento platform. Ensure all product listings are complete, accurate, SEO-friendly, and visually appealing. Collaborate with suppliers to gather accurate product data, including SKUs, attributes, and specifications. Ability to draft Taxonomy hierarchies and product specific attributes. Team Leadership : Build, train, and mentor a team of cataloging associates. Delegate tasks, review work quality, and ensure deadlines are met. Act as the point of contact for resolving escalations related to cataloging.Continuous Improvement : Identify gaps in the current cataloging process and recommend tools or automation opportunities. Stay updated on industry trends, Magento enhancements, and e-commerce cataloging standards.Automation : Experience using automation tools (RBA) is preferred but not required.
