Required Delivery Boy - Pune

Key Responsibilities :

1. Parcel Pickup and Delivery :

• Pick up parcels from the assigned warehouse, branch, or vendor location.
• Deliver parcels, packages, or documents to residential or commercial addresses as per route plan.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in good condition.
• Obtain customer signatures or OTP confirmation for successful deliveries.

2. Route Management and Time Efficiency :

• Plan and follow the most efficient route for deliveries using maps or company delivery apps.
• Avoid delivery delays by managing traffic, weather conditions, and pickup timing.
• Update the system with delivery status in real-time using mobile apps or delivery logs.

3. Customer Interaction :

• Greet customers professionally and deliver parcels with a positive attitude.
• Handle basic customer inquiries regarding delivery or product details.
• Maintain good customer relations and provide service with courtesy.

4. Cash Collection and Documentation (if applicable) :

• Collect Cash on Delivery (COD) payments from customers where applicable.
• Maintain and submit accurate records of deliveries, collections, and receipts.
• Ensure safe handling and reporting of collected cash to the branch or supervisor.

5. Safety and Parcel Care :

• Handle all parcels with care to avoid damage during transport.
• Adhere to company rules regarding packaging, transport, and hygiene standards.
• Drive safely and follow all traffic and company delivery regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

• Minimum Qualification: 10th Pass or above
• Basic reading and writing skills in the local language (Hindi, English, or regional language)
• Knowledge of using smartphones and delivery apps (training will be provided)
• Good knowledge of local roads, traffic rules, and delivery zones

Preferred Attributes :

• Valid two-wheeler license (mandatory for bike-based delivery)
• Own two-wheeler (preferred, but not compulsory in some cases)
• Experience in delivery, courier, or logistics is an advantage
• Physically fit and capable of lifting medium-sized parcels
