Document calibration curves. Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Carry out planned preventative maintenance procedures for backup power systems, motors, transformers, control panels, variable frequency drives, and electrical distribution nodes. PLC & SCADA Fault Diagnostics: Use PLC network interfaces, I/O status light analysis, telemetry loop checks, and SCADA feedback loop verification to troubleshoot process automation abnormalities. Control Loop Repair & Tuning: Trace and reconstruct analog and digital communication loops; maintain and repair electropneumatic control valves, actuators, positioners, and solenoids. Safeguarding Safety and Compliance: Before working on intrinsically safe devices, strictly adhere to Lockout/Tagout safety restrictions and implement strict Hazardous Area categorization rules. Required Skills: P&ID and Schematic Literacy: The advanced practical ability to read and trace point-to-point electrical panel printing, piping instrumentation schematics, and intricate automation layouts. Precision Calibration Tool Dexterity: Technical proficiency with specialized test equipment, such as pressure pumps, multimeters, loop calibrators (like Fluke 789), documented process calibrators, and HART communicators. Control Element Mastery: A thorough understanding of pneumatic configurations, clever positioners, automated control valves, and limit switches. Industrial Wiring and Power Safety: Proficient practical experience in terminating control panels, pulling instrumentation cables, inspecting the integrity of grounding paths, and troubleshooting low-to-medium voltage systems.
