QC Manager in Plastic Injection Molding Job Description Post - QC Manager Experience- minimum 10 years Location- Chennai Job Description- We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to organize and oversee the manufacturing of goods. You will be ultimately responsible for the smooth running of all production lines and the quality of output. We expect you to have deep know-how in production procedures. Ability to direct personnel towards maximum performance will set you apart as a leader. Decision-making and problem-solving will take up a great part of your day. If you are up to it, we d like to talk to you. The goal is to ensure an efficient and productive manufacturing process that meets customer requirements. Skill Requirements- 1. Plastic Injection Molding- must have strong knowledge of plastic injection molding technology including- a. Production techniques b. Troubleshooting c. Rejection Handling 2. Assembly Line- must have a strong understanding of monitoring an assembly line to ensure minimal rejection 3. Mold/Tool Maintenance- must have strong knowledge for maintaining molding equipment 4.Systems & Process Development- create robust processes and develop KPIs to increase performance and visibility of the plant performance. Processes should be built to ensure complete accountability 5. Lean Production & Six Sigma- practical skills in building a lean culture as well as creating & monitoring control charts 6. IT Skills a. ERP systems b. MS Excel c. MS Office MS Powerpoint Responsibilities- The production manager will report directly to the company director. The responsibilities are- 1. Approve & Monitor Production plans 2. Create Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Production plans 3. Control inventory levels 4. Supervise & Evaluate performance of staff 5. Conduct Quarterly performance reviews of staff 6. Enforce health & safety 7. Approve maintenance & equipment work 8.
