Job Description
Role : Sales EngineerRole Definition : - Sales Engineer is one who coverts leads into revenue by visiting/discussing with customer to understand their needs, by resolving their objections, by sending proposals, by negotiating and finalizing the order and collecting payment.Responsibility :Deliverable : 1. To visit/ call customers to understand their needs, do objection handling, making proposals, negotiate and follow up till the order gets finalized.2. To process the order by preparing contract review, scope of supply & dispatch requisition3. Co-ordinating with operations and customer for timely and smooth dispatch of material4. To maintain all enquiries, quotations and orders collected data. Prepares and presents accurate market information to management Tasks & Activities : 1. Calling/visiting customers to understand their need and to establish their need2. Resolving customer objection to buy the product3. Making proposals4. Negotiating with customer5. Following up with customer till the order gets finalized6. Doing contract review after collecting purchase order7. Preparing scope of supply after collecting purchase order8. Creating dispatch requisition document 9. Co-ordinating with operations for smooth dispatch of material to customer.10. Intimate docket no. to customer and keep track of the consignment till it gets delivered.11. Follow up with customer for payments12. Participate in operational, tactical & strategic meeting13. To give market feedback to Management14. To give sales projection to decide on stock15. To collect payment16. To prepare and submit expense report to HR by 5th of every month17. Send daily report whatsapp message for break throughs and break downs18. Submitting sales matrix every weekMeasurement Metrics : 1. To visit 16 customers 50 tele calls per week 2. To make 100 proposals per month3. To generate 30 Laks per month ordersQualification : BE- mechanical or Diploma in Mechanical or Bsc graduateCompetencies we are looking for : Iceberg Elements : Attributes List : Skills :1. Knowledge of various types spindles, servo turrets, various types of chucks, angle head, ATC, rack & pinion, rotary union, boosters, tool grippers, pulley, self feeder, multi heads, index tables & rotary tablesSelf-Image :1.
