Summary:
:
A recognized degree in electrical engineering discipline, from an accredited college or university.
:
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
.
:
Relevant work experience in FEED, proposal and detailed engineeringpreferably in an EPCindustry for large industrial plants, power projects, utilities, oil and gas plants.

Responsible for assigned activities in electrical engineering discipline.

Essential Job Duties:
:
Performs electrical discipline work which involves the preparation, interpretation or review of calculations, specifications, electrical layout plans including lighting and grounding systems.

Participates in one or more of the following:

ETAP/Smart Plant Electrical (SPEL)

Equipment design and development
:
System design, including concept sketches and layouts
:
Preparation of specifications and design calculations
:
Reviewing and checking designs, drawings and data by other engineers or by suppliers
:
Preparation or review of engineering studies and reports
:
Preparation or review of material quantity estimates
:
Uses engineering computer aided design/computer aided engineering (CAD/CAE) tools
:
Prepares letters for replies to vendor correspondence.
:
Monitors project controls within discipline.
:
Reviews design documents of equipment manufacturers or subcontractors of a moderate degree of complexity and prepares comments and recommendations.

Assists in preparation of forecasts, quantity take:offs and change orders.
:
