Communicate with clients to address a range of billing-related issues. Preserve and file all documentation. The billing staff is responsible for handling all consultations and OP/IP billing. To prevent errors in calculations, the entire tariff structure and doctor consultation fees must be updated in the system. Computer billing must be rigorously adhered to; manual billing is not acceptable. Take receipt of and record the client-provided billing activity. Any billing error is unacceptable, and the billing team must assume full responsibility for any resulting shortfall in such a case. All patient-related documentation should be filed and kept in an organized way.
