Project Overview:
Bechtel is seeking to expand its decades long relationship with Reliance by providing Project Management Consultant (PMC) Services and Engineering Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) Services for offsites and utilities (OSBL) for a multi:billion:dollar upgrade / expansion of existing petrochemical facilities in India. Reliance plans to augment its existing petrochemical facilities in Dahej, Gujarat, and Nagothane, Maharashtra, to expand its PVC capacity. The PMC Services will be led out of India with personnel deployed in Mumbai region, the project sites in India, as well as several key contractor locations across India. The EPCM Services for OSBL will be led out of Bechtel 's India offices.
The positions on this project will start as assignment in Navi Mumbai, Dahej or Nagothane.
Job Summary:
Structural Engineer with Bachelor 's / Master 's Degree in Civil Engineering and 16 years of experience on basic and detailed design and project co:ordination of civil/structural works on Infrastructure, Energy and M and M projects. Should have executed at least two, medium to large size EPC/FEED projects, as CSA Engineering Group Supervisor in an engineering office or consultancy of repute. Experience in PMC role in Substation and Transmission project will be preferred. Should have a broad knowledge of precedents and latest trends in structural engineering, the principles and practices of related technical areas and of collaborating with other technical disciplines.Candidate should have exposure to Indian, US, Euro and other foreign codes/standards and local practices. Proficiency in use of industry standard software including Structural and Finite Element Analysis package such as STAAD Pro / ANSYS / GTStrudl / SAP / SACS/PLS:Poles/PLS:Tower etc. is essential.
