The Vice President will report to the Vice President of Finance Global Business Services (GBS).
The position is based in Bangalore on a local contract.
The Position
As Vice President of Financial Planning and Analytics, you will lead a global team of approximately 200 professionals, driving the financial planning, reporting, and analytics functions within Finance GBS. You will play a critical role in supporting strategic initiatives and decision:making across geographies and business units. You will be accountable for enhancing cost controllership, leading digital transformation efforts, and providing value:added insights to influence business outcomes, while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Additionally, you will collaborate with senior leadership to benchmark against competitors and drive continuous improvement in processes. Your leadership will also ensure the development of a high:performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, engagement, and excellence.
Your main job tasks as Vice President of Financial Planning and Analytics will be:

Developing a scalable FP and A team that will be able to support the growth of the business : acquisitions, product verticals and global business units

Enhancement of Finance controllership and Business partnership roles across global business affiliates
:
Manage overall operational performance (people and process) of Corporate Financial Planning, Product supply (production accounting), Finance/Business partnering support across regions
:
Take an active role in developing and streamlining processes, creating synergies across departments and develop and recruit talents in Finance GBS
:
Drive Finance GBS and global finance strategies
:
Manage, coach, and develop a group of corporate finance professionals. Promote a culture of high engagement, high performance, and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality

Identify opportunities to challenge team members and grow their skillsets
:
Be viewed as a trusted advisor by the business unit leadership and senior executive and provide timely and valued support globally
:
Continual improvement through industry benchmark delivery metrics
:
Ensure compliance with internal as well as external regulations and procedures such Novo Nordisk Way and Sarbox etc.

Work closely with the Management team in Finance GBS in driving key people development trainings and priorities.

Master 's degree in business, finance, or a related field.

15 years of experience within finance offshoring centres.
