Install, configure, tune, maintain, and monitor Windows 2003/2008/2012/2019 Enterprise server
Proficient on Microsoft (MS) Clustering issues
Administering Windows, VMware, Hyper:V and cloud operations.
IIS administration and Certificate management
Thorough knowledge on Print Server management role.
Provide Windows server administration within an Active Directory environment
Use monitoring tools to oversee multiple Wintel systems operating within a defined support operations area
Troubleshoot Wintel systems with remote technology such as iDRAC and RDP
Collaborate with clients to develop, implement, and review customer relations service improvement programs
Implement core business processes and assist the client with process improvement initiatives
Analyse, log, track, and resolve complex issues pertaining to networking connectivity issues, printers, Windows servers, and applications
Coordinate hardware and software installations, as well as upgrades
Isolate and diagnose common Wintel system problems and document system events to ensure continuous functioning
Coordinate and monitor troubleshooting, testing, upgrades, and configuration of Wintel (Windows / VMware) system files and services
Prepare for and prescribe approaches to possible downstream implications
Perform Patching and troubleshooting related to any issues post patching.
Collaborates with providers when requested.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (W2008 to W2019) and Intel based server hardware
Basic knowledge of Active Directory and Networking.
knowledge on VMware, Hypervisor and Azure
knowledge on industry standards and audit requirements.
Understanding of Asset management.
Performs requested changes, interfacing with team members and other professional staff.
Provide in:depth diagnosis for operating systems software/hardware failures and develop solutions
Prescribe system backup / disaster recovery procedures and direct recovery operations in the event of destruction of all or part of the operating system or other system components
