About the department
The People Reporting and Analytics department, based in POGBS, comprises a team of dedicated professionals focused on establishing and maintaining global dashboards for people and organization. We work collaboratively to support the global People Analytics vision, operating in a fast:paced and dynamic atmosphere where continuous improvement and delivering impactful insights are at the core of our work.
The position
As an Advanced Data Analyst at Novo Nordisk, you will :
:
Demonstrate in:depth knowledge and hands:on experience with Power BI, including advanced data modelling, DAX, and Power Query/M language.
:
Design and develop dashboards using BI technologies, specifically Power BI and Tableau.
:
Utilise ETL tools, especially Alteryx, for data extraction, transformation, and loading. Work with MS SQL database and SQL for data manipulation and querying.
:
Integrate and automate data processes using REST API. Apply statistical methods to analyse data and identify trends.
:
Showcase experience in regression and/or machine learning models. Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
:
Collaborate closely with different departments and external partners and develop and maintain business intelligence/analytics solutions, ensuring efficiency and providing actionable insights.
:
Optimise dashboards for performance and user experience, including debugging, post go:live updates, and enhancements.
Qualifications
We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications:
:
Bachelor 's or master 's degree in a relevant field with a total of 7 years of experience in IT.
:
Minimum 7 years of experience working with data. Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience with designing and developing dashboards using BI technologies, specifically Tableau and Power BI.
:
Minimum 3 years of experience working with ETL tools, preferably Alteryx. Experience working with MS SQL database and SQL.
:
Experience working with REST API.
:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal and written communication.
:
Experience with using statistics to analyse data and identify trends. Experience regression and/or machine learning models.
:
Ability to represent Novo Nordisk in relations with users and external stakeholders.
