Job Description
Responsibilities:Sales and Revenue Generation :- Achieve sales targets and objectives in the assigned territory through effective sales strategies and execution.- Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand market reach and increase revenue.- Manage and grow existing accounts by building strong relationships with customers.Channel Sales Management :- Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers in the assigned region.- Ensure proper distribution and availability of products in the general trade channel.- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure timely replenishment.Market Analysis and Planning :- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and competition.- Develop and implement sales plans and strategies to capture market share and increase brand presence.- Provide feedback and insights to the marketing and product development teams for continuous improvement.Customer Relationship Management :- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.- Address customer queries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively.- Provide product knowledge and training to customers to enhance their selling capabilities.Sales Reporting and Documentation :- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions.- Utilize CRM tools to manage customer information and sales pipeline.Promotional Activities :- Plan and execute promotional activities and campaigns to drive product sales and brand awareness.- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement effective in-store promotions and merchandising.- Monitor and report the effectiveness of promotional activities.Compliance and Coordination :- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.- Coordinate with other departments, such as marketing, logistics, and finance, to ensure smooth operations.- Attend sales meetings, training sessions, and industry events as required.Requirements : - Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.- 2-5 years of experience in field sales, preferably in the FMCG/F&B industry.- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.- Strong knowledge of channel sales and general trade practices.- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.This role is vital for driving sales and expanding market presence in the FMCG/F&B sector.
