Job Description
Key Responsibilities :Sales Strategy and Planning :- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve territory sales targets.- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.- Prepare sales forecasts and budgets for the territory.Business Development:- Identify and acquire new customers within the assigned territory.- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and distribution partners.- Conduct regular market visits to understand customer requirements and gather feedback.Sales Execution:- Execute sales plans and promotional activities to increase product visibility and sales.- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports on sales activities, results, and market conditions.- Ensure the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.Customer Relationship Management:- Address and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly.- Provide excellent customer service to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.- Maintain a customer database and ensure regular follow-up with clients.Team Management:- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals.- Provide training and support to team members to enhance their sales skills and product knowledge.- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.Inventory and Stock Management:- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure product availability.- Manage stock rotation and minimize stockouts and excess inventory.- Implement effective merchandising strategies to maximize product placement and visibility.Compliance and Reporting:- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.- Prepare and submit accurate sales reports and documentation as required.- Keep abreast of industry regulations and standards.Qualifications:- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.- 3 to 10 years of experience in sales, preferably in FMCG, FMCD, or Retail industries.- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.- Strong understanding of the local market and customer preferences in Kochi.- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Proficiency in MS Office and sales management software.Preferred Skills:- Experience in managing a sales team.- Knowledge of retail and distribution channels.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.Benefits:- Competitive salary up to 7 LPA.- Health and wellness benefits.- Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.- Supportive and dynamic work environment.- Performance-based incentives and rewards.
