Project Description : - The requirement is with a client who is a world leader in Storage Products and Data-Driven Solutions. The company is headquartered in CA, USA. Xoriant engineering team is working with them on building and maintaining various platforms and tools for sales enablement, technical operations and assisting technical sales groups.
-The present requirement is to integrate various hardware infrastructure devices into an automation platform.
-You would get to interact directly with the client and work on core modules of a tool that is widely used by client technical and sales representatives for their end customers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to : - Infrastructure integration with client platform using Python - Design, setup, administration, monitoring, tuning and optimizing of automation workflows on the infrastructure orchestration platform - Develop and create automation enablement of storage infrastructure - Analyze and resolve problems involving interaction between applications, server hardware/firmware/OS and storage by working with cross functional teams You should have experience in the key matrix and performance areas given below : What we offer in this role : - Best market exposure, internal visibility for growth - Work on robust, secure and architectural environment - Opportunity to work in a technical environment - Flawless blend of volume, niche to enrich your entire experience and kick-start your career - Young fast-growing team Key Skills : Mandatory Technology Skills : - Minimum 5 yrs. of experience working in the IT Industry - Expertise in Python - Good exposure to large SAN, NAS and backup production support mission critical environment - Exposure to Linux, VMware and Windows Operating Systems - Basic knowledge of Networking - Knowledge of Fiber channel SAN Fabrics with Brocade DCX switches and a solid understanding of FC protocol, in general, will be required - Knowledge of volume management software and file systems - Exposure to IBM p770, VIO, LPARS, NPIV preferred - Experience in requirements gathering, designing, planning, problem-solving, technical analysis of business problems and presenting it to management - Analytical ability to resolve complex issues in a fast paced and challenging SAN storage environment is needed - Familiarity and hands-on experience with SAN storage management product. Other Mandatory Aspects : - Early/ immediate joiners are welcome - Knowledge of high end and midrange storage platforms like Hitachi Vantara G1000, G800, G600, HNAS, HUS series, and NAS Object based storage is required.
-Exposure to IBM AIX, Solaris.
