SQL Server Developer/Lead - Performance Tuning (12-20 Yrs) Bangalore (Systems/Product Software)

Responsibilities and Duties : - Programming stored procedures, views and functions - Reviewing query performance and optimizing SQL code - Writing queries used for front-end applications (websites, cloud apps) - Designing and coding database tables to store the applications data - Working with application developers to create optimized queries - Creating and tweaking table indexes to improve database performance Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications : - 12 years of MS SQL Server work experience - Strong proficiency in MS SQL Server and prior experience in MS SQL Server performance tuning - Advanced knowledge of T-SQL, including transactions, error handling, CTEs, Row_Number/Over, hierarchical data sets.
-Excellent understanding of indexes, locks, execution plans and file stats - Experience in analyzing and optimizing I O and CPU bottlenecks - Familiar with tools that can aid with profiling server resource usage and optimizing it - Should have a working knowledge about load balancing - Excellent communication skills for working with overseas clients.
