Java Developer - J2EE/Spring (6-12 Yrs) Chennai/Pune (Systems/Product Software)

This job opportunity is with a Banking Captive. Notice period : Immediate joiner to 60 days (max) Skills required : - Strong hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, CS fundamentals, Spring framework, Restful Webservices and database (MSSQL/Oracle or any other RDBMS). Qualification : - 6-12 years of experience in software development required - Bachelors degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, an advanced degree is beneficial - Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus Roles and Responsibilities : - Experience building distributed high-performance, high-availability systems - Experience with and a strong understanding of capital markets (preferred) - Experience working in a strong agile environment - Consults with internal business groups to provide highly advanced application software development services or technical support.
-Consults to IT and business managers on issues, questions and problems related to his/her area of expertise.
-Accountable for resolving highly complex problems that have an impact on the corporations ability to conduct business.
-Uses in-depth knowledge of various technologies to establish and influence the implementation of broad-based technology strategy for large IT Divisions.
-Stays abreast of emerging technologies and identifies the potential use of new and existing technology within lines of business by participating in industry-wide conferences and research and by using in-depth knowledge of various business areas.
-Educates business leaders and prepares presentations for the business on IT strategies.
-Advocates for innovative, creative technology solutions. Contributes to the achievement of Application Development objectives.
-Provides application software development services or technical support in relatively straightforward projects.
-Understands and follows the Software Development Life Cycle.
-Prepares and executes test plan and test data and records test results.
-Writes new programs, working with complex application system designs and specifications and utilizing standard procedures and techniques.
-Designs and codes programs.
-Creates multiple test transactions and runs tests to find errors and revise programs as necessary.
-Documents installation and operating procedures. Interfaces with architects to design, code, and test and implement application programs.
-Conducts detailed and complex analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of reporting application systems.
-Studies design and proposes innovative, creative technology solutions.
-Contributes to the achievement of team objectives
