AgriChain - Python Developer - Django/ORM (0-1 Yrs) Gurgaon/Gurugram (Systems/Product Software)

AgriChain Pvt Ltd (also known Blockgrain.io) is an Australian MNC - looking to hire Senior Software Engineers (Full-Stack) to work on a number of exciting software development projects using the latest technologies targeting a global user base. Blockgrains vision is to be the largest industry wide platform for managing the agricultural supply chain; connecting sellers and buyers, providing full paddock-to-plate traceability and allowing bulk logistics companies to manage and grow their operations. The role will be based in the AgriChain Development Centre in Gurgaon, Haryana, India - reporting to the Head of Delivery / General Manager. WEBSITE : : - Writing reusable, testable and efficient code.
-Designing and implementing low-latency, high availability and performant software using Python and the Django framework - including API (application programming interface) and business logic layers.
-Implementing user interface elements using the React.JS framework, using HTML CSS elements developed by front-end developers.
-Creating database schemas and implementing data models with Postgres databases using ORM (Object Relational Mapping) libraries.
-Writing and developing automated tests for the software developer.
-Following Agile Software Development principles and practices.
-Managing source code and code versioning using Github.
-Deploying software builds using Docker and CircleCI.
-Being a team player and working well in a high performance, fast-paced environment with a commitment to excellence. Skill, Knowledge, And Experience : - Expert knowledge of Python and Django framework.
-Expert knowledge of Postgres databases and ORMs.
-Good understanding of React.JS and/or similar front-end technologies.
-Basic understanding of HTML and CSS but with good understanding of how to integrate HTML/CSS into front-end code.
-Good understanding of fundamental design principles for scalable applications.
-Good understanding of accessibility and security compliance principles.
-Strong unit testing, debugging and problem solving skills.
-Experience of source code versioning using Git, Mercurial, SVN or Team Foundation Server.
-Basic understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Linux Servers.
-Understanding of Docker, Terraform and containerisation highly desirable.
