Back End Engineer Location : Jaipur Experience : Minimum three years of relevant experience Educational Qualification : B.S/M.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology or Electronics Communications/relevant Field Job Description : Gram Powers cloud computing today is built on AWS. The system connects to a large number of distributed Data Concentrator Unit spread across Indias power distribution network and our Smart Grid in rural areas. This help establish two way communication and control of all Smart Meters. In this position you will be working on designing and building Gram Powers core cloud application architecture. We are looking for a back end engineer with experience in cloud computing, data security and architecting large scale systems. Roles and Responsibilities : - Set up maintain a high performance and reliable cloud service that can scale up to managing data collection from millions of smart meters on the field.
-Implement a backend data store that can handle thousand of writes per second.
-Architect the data storage to ensure fast access of data for analytics and visualization.
-Optimize process run on cloud servers to minimize cost.
-Ensure High System uptime.
-Design security features to protect user privacy and ensure data security. Skills and Experience : - Experience in building cloud applications.
-Deep knowledge of one or more of the following languages - Python, Ruby, Golang, Java.
-Working knowledge of libraries and frameworks commonly used in your language of choice.
-Strong knowledge with at least one of AWS, App Engine, Azure or similar.
-Experience with shell scripting, git, and other modern development tools.
-Experience with team building applications on top database like Postgres, MySQL.
-Team Spirit.
