Principal Engineer - API Design & Development (9-12 Yrs) Bangalore (Systems/Product Software)

Role : Principal Engineer Experience : Should be 9 yrs Job Responsibilities : - To lead and guide technically engineering team - To design and develop high-volume, high-performance, high-availability Java applications using proven Java frameworks and technologies - To design and develop reusable libraries and APIs for use across the platform - To contribute to best practice for application development - To write unit and integration tests, within automated test environments to ensure code quality - To assist in defining the teams technical strategy and advising on product roadmaps and migration plans to achieve strategic goals - To write concise yet comprehensive technical documentation - To liaise with the product manager and technical architect to explore and suggest appropriate technical solutions to achieve the required product features - To be responsible for work quality, ensuring it meets the technical standards - To monitor work against the production schedule closely and provide progress updates and report any issues or technical difficulties to the senior developers on a regular basis - To be responsible for technical solution of products and own it end to end. Must Have : - Significant and demonstrable Java and React or Angular2 development experience - Significant and demonstrable experience of using Tomcat, Spring Framework (SpringBoot), Maven, Git, AWS.
-Significant and demonstrable experience of using Unix / Linux based Operating Systems including performing basic administrative tasks.
-Significant and demonstrable experience of implementing best practice - especially around scalability, availability and performance.
-Significant and demonstrable experience of test-driven development alongside use of automated test frameworks, mocking/stubbing and JUnit.
-Significant and proven experience on Agile methodologies.
-An ability to rapidly and effectively understand and translate product and business requirements into technical solutions - Significant exposure to development methodologies like SOA, SaaS, Messaging Queues, Event Driven Development etc. Primary Skills : - Experience in Front-End areas like - JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS 2, React. Preferred experience in React.
-Libraries like jQuery or Backbone.js - Experience in Backend areas like - Experience in API design and development - Experience in Relational Database technologies like MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL.
-Experience in writing RESTful Services using SpringBoot - Experience in CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations - Experience in Server-side languages like Java - Web server technologies like Node.js, J2EE, Apache, Nginx, etc.
-Experience on deploying product on AWS.
-Experience in writing test cases using Junit/TestNG, Mockito.
-Experience in studying HeapDump, Thread Stack Traces etc.
-Code versioning system like git or cvs. Secondary Skills : - Experience in Front-End areas like AJAX - Front-end (CSS) frameworks like Foundation or Bootstrap - Web fundamentals like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS is a plus - Experience in writing scripts, shell or python.
-Experience in Cloud technologies Kubernetes, Docker - Experience in Big Data technologies like Kafka, Cassandra, Spark, Hadoop eco system etc.
