HIGH LEVEL SUMMARY OF THE ROLE : - The - Real Estate - Application Support Lead- will be responsible for ongoing monitoring, support and maintenance of the Real Estate application stack. Our Real Estate footprint comprises of 35Real Estate, Loss Prevention, Treasury, Legal and other package applications.
-The successful individual will be expected to lead and coordinate application support team; partner with business stakeholders, software services provider, and other application support, development and infrastructure teams to drive 24- 7 support for our production systems. Other responsibilities : - Engage with vendor partner in successfully transitioning the production system support maintenance of Oracle Retail applications to the internal team.
-Build and lead the team to support the ongoing monitoring and maintenance of Real Estate, Loss Prevention, Treasury, Legal and Others production systems.
-Maintain and create appropriate documentation on Standard Operating Procedures.
-Liaison with widely distributed multi-cultural teams.
-Create and maintain strong positive relationships with colleagues across the IT division and adopt/leverage from other application support teams.
-Provide guidance to the team on technical and non-technical matters in resolving production incidents within pre-defined SLAs.
-Provide single point of contact for high priority cases in application support, ensuring these are communicated to senior management, business and support teams via the correct process, within the time scales required.
-Provide the required management information on a regular basis indicating performance.
-Identify application service improvement initiatives which result in improved service to business partners.
-Utilize available data to identify and highlight trends and common faults, working with the teams to demonstrably resolve persistent problems.
-Ensure early engagement in the application development process in defining support models consistent and appropriate with the defined overall application support strategy and approach.
-Liaison with infrastructure other application support teams for coordinating application outages during planned maintenance of H/W, N/W, OS, Database applications.
-Ensure in-scope application User Administration adheres to Gap policy and process.
-Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley processes, best practices and other IT processes and procedures.
-Illustrate dedication to meeting requirements of internal and external customers, responding to all customer requests promptly and thoroughly.
-Assume accountability for results, approach obstacles proactively and look for ways to resolve problems and issues. Capabilities Requirements : - Bachelors degree with at least 10 years of IT experience and at a minimum of 5-6 years Real Estate, Loss Prevention, Treasury and Legal experience.
-Practical expertise and experience in Application Development, Systems design, and Application Support and related IT disciplines in a package application context.
-Ability to understand complex and custom developed business objects and packages - Experience in leading a team of size 6 and managing the shift/rotation plans.
-Advanced teamwork skills with ability to manage widely distributed teams with the ability to adapt to various styles of communication.
-Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate ideas in both technical user friendly language.
-Ability to navigate and influence teams, vendors, and external service providers. Proficient skills in listening, learning and interpreting.
-Very strong technical knowledge of Tririga applications - Real Estate deal and Lease Management module: ideally with experience of Treasury, Loss Prevention and Legal package application - Strong functional understanding of Real Estate, Loss Prevention, Treasury and other related package applications - Experience with Oracle RDBMS, PL/SQL, UNIX scripting, MSSQL, MySQL - Understanding of Real Estate processes such as Deal, Construction, lease administration, batch processing and performance optimization.
-Understanding of WebSphere application server, tools and architecture.
