IMarkserv - Data Scientist - Machine Learning/Predictive Analytics (1-3 Yrs) Mumbai (Systems/Product Software)

Job Description : We are looking for energetic, self-motivated Data Scientist to work on extraordinary enterprise products based on AI and Big Data engineering. Skills and Qualifications : - 1 to 2 years of experience in data engineering, Statistical Programmer or as a data scientist.
-Minimum of 1 year of hands on experience in machine learning and predictive analytics.
-Hands on experience in supervised machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as GLM, Linear regression, k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Random Forests etc.
-Hands on experience in un-supervised machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as various clustering algorithms, dimensionality reduction techniques.
-Machine learning skills: Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP), Text mining, Text processing. And various NLP toolkits - NLTK - Knowledge on Forecasting, Linear Optimization and various other applied statistical methods like hypothesis testing, Analysis of variance, confidence intervals etc.
-Experience with data science toolkits and libraries: Python: Sci-kit learn, NumPy, Pandas; - Experience in Data wrangling, data clean up, PoS tagging.
-Basic experience in Exploratory Data Analysis, getting insights from data and presenting it to audience, feature engineering, multi-variate analysis.
-Good communication skills.
-Proficient knowledge and experience with at least one back-end programming language - R, Python, node.js.
-Working knowledge of SQL - queries, simple and medium joins. Nice to have : - Neural network - Deep learning techniques - Bayesian network - Reinforced learning and Active learning - Visualisation techniques and tools for descriptive analytics - knowledge on Tableau or Qlikview - Understanding of Big data technologies like Hadoop, Hive and Spark - Familiarity with cloud - AWS/Azure/GCP Role and Responsibilities : - Selecting features, building and optimising classifiers using machine learning techniques - Implement the models for production deployments - Build and train NLP and NLU algorithms using various toolkits and cloud stack and expose them as api - Data mining using state-of-the-art methods - Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis and automating this for production deployments.
