JD : - Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code.
-Manage the full technical life cycle of Android applications during each development phase.
-Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
-Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
-Diagnose performance issues, fix bugs to increase the functionality of the application.
-Understand the nuances of fragments and Android XML layouts, and how to create adaptive interfaces that work for multiple device form factors.
-Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Requirements : - Proven software development experience and Android skills development; have published at least one original Android app.
-Knowledge of Android SDK, Eclipse, Android Studio and/or appropriate equipment and software.
-Extensive hands-on experience of creating custom UI controls, designing protocols, implementing interfaces, and performance optimization.
-Working knowledge of Web Services REST (JSON) APIs.
-Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices - Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GIT - Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies - Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
-Experience with third-party libraries and APIs - Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers - Experience with Barcode scanner for Android devices.
-Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks - Familiarity with continuous integration - Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
