Quality Assurance Test Engineer - Functional/Performance Testing (2-4 Yrs) Bangalore (Others)

Our client is specialized in providing services related to Web, Mobile and Desktop applications for On-premises and Azure Cloud platforms.
-Define and maintain test plans and test specifications for functional, integration and performance testing; manual execution of test cases and reporting product failures.
-Find more efficient ways to improve testing time and coverage through processes and/or tools.
-Work directly with the project team members locally as well as onsite members, including software developers, during the software development process.
-Follow the defined practices and guidelines of product development - Take complete ownership of completing the QA tasks for the User Stories for each release in a timely manner.
-Certify that released software meets requirements and has been thoroughly tested in accordance with approved test plans. Skills Experience Essential - Minimum of 2 years of related software QA experience - Must have knowledge in any of the Test Management tool: Test Manager, Quality Center, Jira etc.
-Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
-Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases - Basic knowledge of SQL - Written and verbal communication skills including the ability to discuss issues and concepts with technical and business personnel - Knowledge of Agile Development Methodologies like Scrum and Kanban Beneficial : - ISEB - ISTQB certified - Exposure to Azure DevOps services will be of advantage - Ability to work in complex testing environments in order to test cross-platform impacts.
