Database Administrator Lead - Design & Architecture (6-12 Yrs) Chennai (Systems/Product Software)

JD : - Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL & MySQL.
-Responsible for the monitoring of all production databases.
-Estimate PostgreSQL database capacities; develop methods for monitoring database capacity and usage.
-Develop Stored Procedures and Database Triggers in support of application development.
-Participate in application development projects and be responsible for the database architecture and design.
-Participate in the creation of development, staging, and production database instances, and the migration from one environment to another.
-Perform backups and recovery of databases.
-Responsible for regular maintenance on databases.
-Responsible for pro-active remediation of database operational problems.
-Responsible for Query tuning and preventative maintenance.
-Decent experience with recent versions of MySQL.
-Experience with replication configuration in MySQL.
-Knowledge of de-facto standards and best practices in MySQL.
-Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL statements.
-Ability to plan resource requirements from high level specifications.
-Understanding of ETL process.
-Good to have knowledge of Cloud environment - AWS/Azure.
