What makes you a good fit for this role : - Strong experience in Core Java, Spring, JSF, and Hibernate/Spring Data JPA.
-Experience in SOA based architecture, Web Services (Apache CXF/ JAXWS/ JAXRS/ SOAP/ REST).
-Experience in multiple application and web servers (JBoss/ Tomcat/ Websphere).
-Experience in front-end frameworks (AngularJS/ Backbone/ Knockout/ Handlebar).
-Experience in messaging (JMS/WebSphere MQ/Active MQ).

-Hands on experience of RDBMS like SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL.

-Additional Skills: Knowledge of ESB, NoSQL databases (Hadoop/Cassandra/MongoDB), experience with mobile, SaaS and cloud based development. What are your responsibilities : - Understanding various disparate views of the system.
-Analyzing system requirements and mapping them to specific components/libraries.
-Defining, understanding and analyzing non-functional requirements of a project.
-Envisioning the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements; and defining technologies, patterns and frameworks to materialize it.
-Designing and developing the framework of the system and explaining the choices made.
-Writing and reviewing design document explaining overall architecture, framework and high-level design of the application.
-Creating, understanding and validating WBS and estimated effort for given module/task, and being able to justify it.
-Defining in-scope, out-of-scope and assumptions while creating WBS and effort estimates.
-Identifying and integrating overall integration points in context of a project as well as other applications in the environment.
-Defining guidelines and benchmarks for NFR considerations during project implementation.
-Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements.
-Reviewing architecture and design on various aspects like extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, NFRs, etc., against a predefined checklist and ensure that all relevant best practices are followed.
-Providing a solution to any issue that is raised during code/design review and justifying the decision taken.
-Possessing/acquiring strong troubleshooting skills and being interested in performing troubleshooting of issues in different disparate technologies and environments.
-Understanding and relating technology integration scenarios and applying these learnings in complex troubleshooting scenarios.
-Helping teams in complex and unusual bugs and troubleshooting scenarios.
