JOB TITLE : Linux System Admin Position Type : FULLTIME Location : Gandhinagar, Gujarat Pune Experience Range : 3 To 6 Years. Duties responsibilities : - The Linux system administrators are responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining the Linux servers and workstations.
-They are responsible for maintaining the network environment as well as the health of the network and servers.
-They make sure that they provide solutions by complying with the security standards of the company. They support the requests of the users and solve any problems related with the Linux servers and workstations. Mandatory Skills : - Solid understanding of virtualization technology on VMWare/Docker suite - Good knowledge on RED Hat Linux 5, 6 and 7 operating systems.
-DevOps tools, puppet, Jenkins - Windows Administration - Scripting language knowledge Essential Skills: - Performs software application maintenance and OS maintenance on a diverse network of physical and virtual servers. Operating systems to include Windows Server, Red Hat Linux, and VMWare ESXi.
-NIS, NFS and SAMBA administration.
-LDAP administration.
-Strong grasp on configuration management tools, such as Puppet and Chef {{depending on project requirements}} - Troubleshooting on issues belongs to virtual servers.
-RAID and LVM Management.
