Role Summary : At Sun Life were hiring highly technical AWS cloud Specialist to implement cloud managed solutions for Infrastructure and applications, while also collaborating with our partners and customers on key engagements. The selected candidate will be involved with and implementing organizational networks, platforms, and applications on AWS Cloud. The candidate will work closely with stakeholders to gather technical requirements, architect solutions and execute on deliverable The candidate will collaborate with various infrastructure and application team lead to implement comprehensive solution across people, process, and technology Accountability : Core Responsibility : - Install, configure, automate, and monitor various cloud services - Perform operational engineering for activities which include platform upgrades, server patching, monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting.
-Provide on-call support for production and development environments.
-Work closely with a team of architects, engineers, and developers to create functional design specifications, AWS reference architectures, and assist with other project deliverables as needed.
-Work closely with application, network, and security teams to ensure requirements are reflected appropriately in the AWS design Eligibility : Minimum Qualification : - Engineering or equivalent degree - 5 or more years of IT implementation experience with 2-3 years as AWS Cloud Engineer - Certified in industry recognized certifications such as AWS Cloud Architect Competencies : Mandate Skills : - Configure, manage, and maintain the deployment and operations in AWS - EC2, VPC, S3, Kubernetes, Cloud Formation, IaC,and Elastic Search services - Strong track record to configure and support continuous integration and application deployment into Docker containers - Provide day-to-day support of applications and services, resolve functional and performance issues, work concurrently on multiple projects - Be a part of DevOps team to create practical solutions in an Agile environment - Define DevOps best practices for our application development teams and assist them in engaging these processes.
-Ownership and support of configuration management and deployment automation tools on AWS.
-Ownership and support of monitoring tools for AWS.
