Lead Android Developer - Java/SDK (4-10 Yrs) Hyderabad (Online/Mobile/Web)

Navtech is looking for Lead Android Developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a vast number of diverse Android devices. Your primary focus will be the development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services. We- re a fast-growing company with clients in the United States, UK, and Australia. You will join a team of talented developers, quality engineers, product managers, and sales experts to boost the companys and your performance. Responsibilities and Duties : - Build, deploy and maintain scalable, re-usable native mobile applications.
-Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
-Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
-Work with outside data sources, cloud message APIs and push notifications.
-Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
-Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
-Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications : - Min 4 years of experience building mobile applications on Android.
-Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
-Expert knowledge of Java and the JDK.
-Experience with Android SDK (Knowledge of API 4.4 above).
-Advanced Android UI Skills (Fragments, Custom view components).
-Experience writing multi-threaded and Networked apps.
-Experience developing location-aware mobile applications.
-Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
-Experience in working with version control software (Git) or SVN.
-Expert level debugging and analysis skills using ADB.
-Demonstrated experience and passion for delivering exceptional UX.
-Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.
-Should have a Masters Degree /Bachelors (BS) in computer science, Software Engineering, IT, Technology Management or related degrees and throughout education in English medium.
