-The QA Engineer provides a critical glue between engineering, customer support, and the product team. The QA Engineer will utilize a wide range of technologies while communicating, documenting, and building.
-These team members have a deep knowledge of the products and the underlying software, while maintaining communication across the teams. Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and execute automation scripts - Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs - Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved - Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases - Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities - Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products - Work closely with developers, support team members, and product managers to plan testing plans and release schedules - Monitor debugging process results - Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies - Deploy new software builds and automate code integration and deployment - Construct and deploy systems via Terraform - Monitor system performance metrics - Troubleshoot system : - 4 years of work experience - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience - Experience with databases, ideally with Postgresql, is required - Experience with automation using Core Java, testng and Selenium is required - Experience performance testing using Jmeter is required - Experience with Terraform and Ansible is a plus - Experience with one or more of the IaaS provider is a must (AWS, Azure, GCE cloud etc.) - Ability to write automation scripts with Python is required, Bash and Powershell is a plus - Ability to test and debug https-based APIs with tools such as Postman is required - Familiarity with Git and continuous integration systems (Jenkins, CodeShip, etc.) is required - An understanding of security principles and a mind-set to maintain security standards and policies is required - Experience in creating and implementing manual test cases.
