Principal Engineer - Java Product Server (12-18 Yrs) Bangalore (Systems/Product Software)

Development of leading Java server products based on latest technologies, design patterns and architectures. Lead and/or work with a strong team of Java developers building complex server side, web and SaaS based products that are at the confluence of Cloud/SaaS, Analytics, Big Data, Social and Mobile. BROAD RESPONSIBILITIES : - Translate complex business requirements into efficient architecture and design and ultimately releases of market leading products - Architect, design, and develop (hands-on) large-scale, complex infrastructure systems - Use your technical influence to drive innovation and engineering standards/best practices across Engineering. Required skills : - Architecture and design leadership - Experience with distributed computing and enterprise-wide systems - Strong working knowledge in the server side and client side programming using JAVA, J2EE, DBMS and No-sql Technologies.
-Experience in OOPS concepts, design frameworks like Springs, Struts, Hibernate, XML, JSON, etc.
-Experience with a variety of Java standard libraries and 3rd party open source libraries.
-Hands on experience in application servers like Apache Tomcat and related projects.
-Competency in professional engineering best practices and processes relating to software development lifecycle (scrum, architecture/design/coding standards, design/code reviews, unit testing, build processes, testing, operations, etc).
-Knowledge of Business Intelligence, Analytics platform or involved with certain component development of such platform - Exposure/Involvement of developing components related to Data Mining/Advanced Analytics/Machine Learning Solutions would be an added advantage - Take ownership of the complete product/execution and drive with passion.
-Mentor people and help them in solving functional/technical problems.
-Stand as an example for the team to execute which strict cadence to process, quality and timeline of deliverables.
-Knowledge of any of the graphing components like JFreeChart/HighCharts/FusionCharts or any other JavaScript based graphing library would be an added advantage - Excellent collaboration as well as written and oral communication skills.
-Cloud/SaaS (particularly Amazon Web Services) experience desirable but not mandatory Technical Skills Expertise: - Core Java, Multithreading, Concurrency API, Java IO/NIO, Annotations, Reflections, Collection, Data Structures, JDBC - Servlets/JSP, Hibernate, Spring Core(MVC) Model View Controller - Ability to write SQL Queries, Understanding of RDBMS, Knowledge of Data Modelling Concepts - Ability to write JavaScript using frameworks like JQuery / DHTMLX / Dojo / Ext JS / YUI - Knowledge of AJAX, XML, JSON, JAXB - Knowledge of Web Services and REST API - Knowledge of Dashboard/Portlet framework would be an added advantage - Exposure to Fusion Chart would be an added advantage
