Prolim - Data Engineer - Project Management (3-8 Yrs) Overseas/International (Systems/Product Software)

Our Premium Client is always looking to improve on there existing services and user experience. Data analytics and science provide robust ways to achieve this. Our data originates from real stores, e-commerce sites, microservices, and enterprise systems across various brands and geographical regions served by premium client group.
-As a data engineer, your mission would be building a smart big data infrastructure that can collect and store huge data in the safe/correct approach, and providing high-quality data to data scientist quickly using cutting-edge data technology. Job Description : - Development/management of data analytics infrastructure, such as Data Lake, Data Catalog, and DWH - Development of common data processing program - Development/management of batch/real-time processing system for analysis purpose - Development/management of anomaly detection system Some other roles for senior engineer/architect : - Design/continuously improving big data infrastructure - Collaborating with other teams on proposing and designing data processing/integrating system that can provide business value - Participate in system architecture review activities and give advice in terms of data governance Required skills / experience : - 1 years of experience in data engineering/science or other related backend development/operations in the cloud - Familiarity with Hadoop ecosystem OR Worked with large data storage or warehousing solutions including NoSQL, AWS EMR / GCP Bigquery, Elasticsearch, data marts, data lakes, etc - Worked with at least one of programing languages including Python, Scala, Java. For senior level : - 5 years of experience in data engineering/science or other related backend development/operations in the cloud - 2 years of experience in project management - Some experience on building CI/CD pipeline for application development
