Oracle PL-SQL Developer - Performance Tuning (4-12 Yrs) Noida (Enterprise - SAP/Oracle)

Client : HCL Technologies Exp : 1 to 12 Years Position : C2H (Contract to Hire) Outcomes & Activities : - Coordinate design and maintenance of complex databases with respect to access methods, access time, device allocation, validation checks, organization, security documentation, guidelines and statistical methods. This includes maintenance of data dictionaries, overall monitoring of standards and procedures and integration of systems through database design - Work with users to define the requirements of new systems development - Develop and maintain standards, procedures and methodologies for effective operation, access, control backup recovery of all customers databases - Design, implement and modify physical database structures; evaluate, test and implement database management systems, utilities and tools - Provide all support related issues for databases and application servers - Coordinate database security requirements including basic education, user guidelines and access authorizations - Develop, maintain, and monitor documentation and procedural standards relating to all database projects - Conduct and review tests of database systems to verify performance objectives and quality standards - Ensure the integrity of database backup and restore procedures - Refresh development and QA databases as necessary - Create storage groups, databases, tables and views, review SQL, develop and enforce database standards - Communicates availability requirements for database accessibility - Assist in troubleshooting application problems - Prepare time estimates for assigned projects - Possess general understanding of the system deployment process and correlation with database administration responsibilities - Assist in disaster recovery planning, testing and execution as needed - Evaluate project objectives and scope for feasibility - Implement and upgrade large-scale system and application software packages - Remain compliant with our policies, processes and legal guidelines Requirements : - Bachelors degree or equivalent experience - Minimum of 2 years of experience on Oracle Databases 11g or 12c - Experience in performance tuning, backups and recovery - Proficiency in PLSQL coding, troubleshooting, and performance tuning experience in a High Availability environment - Experience in a RAC environment - Experience with ASM (Automatic Storage Management) - Experience installing, upgrading and patching databases - Proficient in Unix Shell Scripting
