Key Responsibilities : - Participate in full software development lifecycle and write code that is performant, maintainable, clear, and concise.
-Build and maintain high-performance, fault-tolerant, scalable platform - Translate Business Requirements into system designs.
-Not only provide technical and architectural leadership, but coach and mentor team members and enable them to achieve a high level of success Functional/Behavioral Skills : - Hands on experience on coding, troubleshooting and Multi-threaded applications.
-Ability to collaborate with other internal technology teams to coordinate and deliver software systems.
-Ability to balance strategic and tactical solutions.
-Take personal initiative; conscientiousness and complete follow-through on areas of responsibility.
-In depth knowledge of applicable methodologies, tools, standards, and procedures. Technical Skills/ Expertise : 1. Development (Code) : - Identify design patterns in code, Implement design patterns with guidance - Comfortable in translating small behaviour requirements into tasks and code - Basic understanding of domains and domain modelling - Seeks out and uses appropriate abstractions, Understands patterns for integration (events/services) 2. Design : - Hands on experience in developing front end applications in Angular/Boot Strap/HTML/JS or any other related frontend frameworks - Hands on experience developing PWA, SPA with modern and open source technologies - Comfortable producing and refactoring code without assistance - Sound knowledge of OOP, Multi-threading, ASYNC, Transaction Management and Caching frameworks - Unit/Integration/E2E/Performance Testing tools/framework - Good understanding of UI concepts, techniques, frameworks and related tools - Experience with version control - Git 3. Development Practices : - Experience in working in an Agile Development Environment - Understands BDD/TDD/Performance/Security/Smoke testing - Understands CI and CD, writes tests to ensure CI/CD processes work - Experience working with automation tools (Ansible, Jenkins or equivalent) - Understands feature toggling, Understands version control and branching strategies 4. Infrastructure : - Good working knowledge of Linux or any other Unix based operating system - Understands one relevant Database technology - NoSQL: Mongo or equivalent 5. Security : - Understands main security risks of relevant language and framework (OWASP 10 or similar) - Can perform a tool based security scan and articulate vulnerabilities Optional Skills : - Micro-services Architecture and hands-on development experience - Frameworks: React, React Native, Django - Technologies: Node.JS, Python - Mobile UI development
