Splunk Developer/Administrator - Linux Server/Solaris (4-11 Yrs) Bangalore/Coimbatore (Systems/Product Software)

Job Responsibilities : - Develop, configure and administer Splunk content.
-Assist in the proper operation and performance of the overall Splunk infrastructure.
-Integrate data feeds (logs) into Splunk.
-Perform data onboarding (indexing) tasks.
-Perform content development to properly identify data feeding SIEMs and correlation of events. Desired Skills : - Detail oriented - Experience working in a global organization with globally distributed environments - Excellent communication (verbal/written) skills, with an ability to manage internal and external relationships up to senior level management - Ability to work in a fast paced, results oriented environment - Ability to quickly understand, follow and adapt to organizational processes and procedures - Demonstrated team player who can effectively handle multiple priorities - Proactive at identifying and removing impediments Job Qualifications : - Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Information Security, Engineering, or equivalent work experience - Minimum 5 years of experience with the deployment, configuration, and support of Splunk 6.x, or similar - Splunk Administrator Certificate or above preferred - Demonstrated technical expertise with the following : 1. Splunk or other similar SIEM technology 2. Linux or Solaris Servers 3. SQL and/or Oracle Databases 4. SIEM Content Development 5 One or more of the following languages: Python, Ruby, PowerShell, Perl, etc.
-Excellent Regular Expression (RegEx) skills - Able to interact with customers and team members and product support personnel - Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills - Ability to work in a fast paced, results oriented environment - Ability to quickly understand, follow and adapt to organizational processes and procedures - Demonstrated team player who can effectively handle multiple priorities - Proactive at identifying and removing impediments Location : Bangalore & Coimbatore Experience : 4 - 10 Years
