Linux Administrator - Ubuntu (5-10 Yrs) Mumbai (Systems/Product Software)

Job Responsibility : - Ubuntu, LDAP, NFS, Nagios, Hadoop, MySQL, Package Management systems such as GIT.
-DNS, DHCP, Routing and Routed Protocols, and PXE Boot - Cloud and CDN Services, including AWS, and Akamai Systems-level troubleshooting for global networks - Support multiple production environments/applications and demands maintaining a high-level of expertise within the aligned technologies of the program - Support, update, integrate, develop, create, adjust and customize hardware and software solutions in an optimal way - Architect and implement solutions that solve complicated application challenges around performance, scaling, and security - Instrument monitoring solutions to gain insight into application performance and understand emerging issues - Maintain and build deployment software and tools (Jenkins, Puppet, etc.) - Work closely with developers to ensure on time delivery of services - Responsible for all operational aspects of IT including proactive system maintenance, issue resolution and on-call support - Experience supporting Nginx - Experience in deploying and managing virtualization technologies (VMWare) - Experience with configuration and automation tools: Ansible - Clear understanding of networking and storage principles and architecture - Strong knowledge of scripting languages bash or Python - Strong working knowledge of monitoring technologies such as Nagios and Pingdom - Advanced Linux (RHCSE Certification or equivalent experience is desirable) - Advanced Networking (CCNA Certification or equivalent experience is desirable) - Incident Management (ITIL Foundations or equivalent experience is desirable)
