Need to have solid hands on programming experience. Role Responsibilities : - Translate designs and wire frames into high quality code - Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Android code - Ensure all scenarios and cases are through and covered along with the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application - Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs - Unit testing Mandatory Skills Experience Required : - Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android - Experience on how to deal with different screen sizes - Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services - Familiarity with Android Location API and Google Location Services API - Familiarity with Cloud Message APIs and push notifications - Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming concepts - Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices - Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning - Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks - Familiarity with continuous integration Good to have : - Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git - Knowledge of data encryption/decryption - Knowledge of Android automation testing framework (e.g. Appium)
