DevOps Engineer - Linux/Unix Administration (3-7 Yrs) Mumbai (Systems/Product Software)

Exp: 3 - 7 yrs Salary - 7.5 - 8 L/annum The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for building and operating all aspects of our cloud based infrastructure with a focus on automation and tool development. This is a high impact role in a fast paced org that is experiencing massive client growth and runs on the most cutting edge VM/cloud based infrastructure. The DevOps Engineer should be able to balance competing priorities with attention to detail, should be a creative problem solver, should be naturally curious and driven to excellence. Skillset - Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration - Strong working knowledge of Linux and cloud, deployment of numerous VMs.
-Worked as a DevOps engineer and automating the releases and builds.
-Debugged issues of deployments, and done root cause analysis.
-Configured Linux servers and cloud servers for build infrastructure, and migrated the build systems from dedicated servers to cloud. The systems are on Linux.
-3 years of hands-on experience in designing and building of application logic, complex enterprise applications, infrastructure, and technologies.
-Experience with cloud systems OpenStack, EC2, OpenNebula, GCE, and networking.
-Experience with automation/configuration management using either Puppet, Chef or an equivalent - Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services (experience with AWS is required) - Strong experience with SQL and MySQL (NoSQL experience is a plus, too, since we also use Redis) - A working understanding of code and script (PHP, Python, Perl, Bash and/or Ruby) - Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
