Project Manager - Agile/Java (10-14 Yrs) Bangalore/Chennai/Delhi NCR/Hyderabad/Mumbai/Pune (Systems/Product Software)

Project Manager (Agile) Key responsibilities - The PM shall be responsible for completion of the project on time, on budget and meeting the requirements.
-The PM will perform a variety of tasks including coordinating all resources and stakeholders, planning and setting milestones, assigning responsibilities and monitoring, summarizing and communicating the progress of the project.
-The person should have strong inter-personal skills to manage conflicts and challenging situations.
-It is also expected that the person could provide adequate reports to the higher management which are meaningful and informative.
-The person would be required to manage a pool of technology resources in terms of mentoring, coaching, conducting appraisals etc. for retaining, motivating and giving them career development.
-Work closely with team to define the scope of work - Identify and manage the risks in the project - Complete ownership and management of project objectives, risks and personnel - Manage project dependencies; Represent project in various cross-project forum - Establish engagement and operating model with various stakeholders (Business Analysts, Technology Architecture, QA, Infrastructure etc) - Recruit project team; establish necessary team procedures - Monitor current working practices and where necessary advise on suitable improvements.
-Work as part of a management team to successfully deliver the overall project. Experience and qualifications Technical / Managerial - 10 - 12 years of relevant industry experience with at least 2 - 3 years experience of managing Java based projects as per agile methodology.
-Hands on experience in delivering / managing a project delivery - Expertise in delegation, task allocation, monitoring/review to the closure - Good Diagnostic and analytical skills.
-Ability to pick up domain knowledge on DC business - Expertise in using MS Office products like PowerPoint, Visio, Excel and Word - Expertise in using project management looks like MS Project(MPP), JIRA, etc - Expert knowledge of Software Engineering principles - Strong workflow management and quality control skills - Ability to motivate teams and deliver to tight deadlines with fixed resources.
-Excellent inter personal skills enabling effective communication and conflict management.
