Engineering Manager - Server Side Technologies - Node.js/Spring MVC/React.js (5-15 Yrs) Bangalore (Online/Mobile/Web)

Position: Engineering Manager Reports to : CEO Direct reports : - Software Engineers - Quality Engineers - Any other Direct reportee Requirement : - Our client is looking for a full time ReactJS Engineering Manager. This position requires at least 5 or more years as a dedicated front end software engineer and 2 years managing a team (including hiring, training, and mentoring engineers).
-Apart from leading the team, the position will be required to work on high-level architecture and technical decisions, and collaborating with peers in other divisions on all product development. Responsibilities : - Incumbent will be defining the overall architecture and choose the best technologies, components and subsystems on different server side tech.
-Driving innovations in the product constantly to remain ahead of the curve.
-Serve as a thought leader and mentor on technical, architectural, design and related issues.
-Proactively identify architectural weaknesses and recommending appropriate solutions.
-Balance short-term versus long-term actions, strategic versus tactical requirements, while continuing to move forward towards the strategic vision.
-Collaborate with cross functional teams to solve complex problems and building products spanning across multiple teams to deliver end-to-end products features - Estimates efforts, identify risks, devises and meets project schedules - Provide functional, design, and code reviews in related areas of expertise with-in team and cross-team.
-Mentor/coach engineers to facilitate their development and provide technical leadership to them. Required Skills : - Java, JavaScript, React.js, Node.Js Spring MVC, jQuery, CSS, HTML5, Kafka, NoSql, RESTful APIs,and Service Oriented Architecture.
-A deep understanding of web technologies ranging from NodeJS to Java, REST to GraphQL, Handlebars to React.
-Solid experience in Web client-side customer centric web application development with a passion for customer usability, simplicity, and performance.
-Experience in Rapid Application development methodologies - Agile, Scrum, Test Driven Development, etc.
-7-8 years of experience in designing, developing and implementing internal tools - Exhibits excellent judgement. Hires great people. Develops great people. Desired Qualification Experience Mandatory : - 10 years experience in a similar senior/leadership role in the e-commerce/e-marketplace space.
-Full time B Tech from tier-1 college (IITs/NITs/ and other colleges within top 20 institute ) - Knowledge of current internet marketplace trends and working.
-Strong people management and leadership skills.
