Director - Business Analysis (15-20 Yrs) Chennai (Others)

Position : Director Business Analyst Location : Chennai Years of experience : 15 years Role Objective As a Director Business Analyst , - You will be instrumental in building the world class team and process for Business Analyst function - It encompasses the full spectrum of business analyst activities through the project life cycle.
-The role is both business and technology facing and will require excellent relationship management and communication skills to ensure a superior service to stakeholders and technology partners Responsibilities : - Own the vision and strategy and create the roadmap to Business Analyst Team, - Monitoring projects from conceptualization to final implementation throughout its lifecycle, - Interfacing with Business leaders, Preparing proposals, business presentations to clients, resource planning, effort estimation, tracking, risk management, audit, status reporting and mentoring - Analyzing the user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design/development within time and cost constraints.
-Executing the best of processes in all business analysis internal process - Performing Gap analysis, preparing project plan and solution documents and coordinating with multiple IT teams (Development, QA & Product) both internal and external, to ensure delivery of product within tight deadline - Participating regularly in Review meetings with Senior Managers, Architect and Application System Engineers to ensure that the project is on track as per the Project plan.
-Assisting the Project Director in setting realistic project expectations and in evaluating the impact of changes on the organization and plans accordingly and conducted project related presentations.
-Prioritizing issues and allocating development and QA resources to ensure timely and quality deliverable.
-Ensuring client confidence and preventing the slippage of issues by serving as offshore coordinator during critical phases of the project.
-Effective in executing multiple tasks and assignments ahead of schedule with strong image for dedicated teamwork, high energy, work ethics and commitment with capability to handle new technologies and situations - Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyse trade offs between usability and functional needs - Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams - Hires the right people, build a high performing teams and act as a trusted adviser, coach or a guide Competence : - Business Analysis experience including project management and execution methodologies Strong finance background.(Various functions / Business, Group Finance and Management Reporting) - Experience in Financial Services or Banking Industry is a must - Good understanding of data and data modelling to assist with systems integration planning - Business Analysis qualification (e.g. ISEB) or equivalent - Strong knowledge of Finance Systems, business functions and tools used in Business Analyst function.
-Strong working knowledge in MS Office tools including MS Visio - Process mapping standards e.g. IDEF0, SIPOC - Project lifecycle - Waterfall and Agile - 15 years of work experience as Business analyst in banking sector or into application / software development sectors worked extensively in digital banking - Excellent requirements analysis and consultative skills, with a logical approach to problem solving - Ability to operate effectively with limited oversight - Excellent communication (written & oral), interpersonal and relationship management skills - Ability to work in a demanding and fast paced environment with speed and discipline - Ability to review proposed solutions and make recommendations - Attention to detail
