Were looking for an experienced QA engineer to help us test our web services and UI for new initiatives. The ideal candidate enjoys working hands-on with senior QA colleagues, engineers and product managers to determine a test plan for each new feature we release. This role will report directly to a Senior QA Engineer in based in our Austin, TX office. What you will do : - Partner with engineers to develop functional test cases for our web services and UIs - Define, implement, and execute both manual and automated tests - Work in a scrum team to test and deploy internal and customer-facing software - Follow standards of code quality and ensure bugs are resolved in a timely manner - Follow established QA processes and best practices - Collaborate with United States-based management and colleagues What youll need : - 3 years experience in automated, web-based software quality assurance - Ability and willingness to work during US-based hours - Familiarity testing frontend applications in a JavaScript framework, preferably Angular - Hands on experience testing web services - Proficiency with SQL to validate data quality and identify issues - Experience with automation tools such as SoapUI or Selenium - Experience working Agile Scrum teams and understanding of scrum ceremonies - Familiarity with Git and BitBucket - Experience with Jenkins for continuous integration/continuous delivery is nice to have - BTech in Computer Science or Information Technology is preferred Who you are : - Preparation and execution of detailed test procedures with accurate and complete converge of the documented requirements.
-Delivery of software project with no critical defects.
-Effective and timely communication of issues/concerns to test lead.
-Maintain subject matter knowledge on the product and/or business process associated with the application or assigned area of test.
