Senior Python Web Developer - Flask/Django (5-9 Yrs) Chennai (Systems/Product Software)

Job Description : We are looking for a Senior Python Web Developer in Chennai-based digital education startup backed by The Hindu Group. We are recruiting a full-time Senior Python Web Developer with 5 years of experience. As a Senior Python Web Developer at Organization you will get an opportunity to build the next generation platform for English language learning and skill certification platform, leveraging the latest developments in speech recognition, natural language processing, and AI for meaningful automated English language teaching training. Job Responsibilities : - Design, develop and extend capabilities of our existing Python Flask and Django based web applications to support enhanced learning and assessments employing latest AI and NLP techniques - Drive the technical design and implementation of backend services to support a highly available and highly scalable load balanced architecture.
-Contribute to the overall design, architecture, security and quality (functional, and non-functional specs) of the e-learning platform - Manage a team of python web developers - Collaborate with QA and the rest of the business, from planning through delivery, and work with the dev team to scope, test, monitor and deploy builds using automation Key Skills : - Strong programming skills in Python 2 3 and web frameworks like Flask, Django, etc.
-Sound knowledge of databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
-Working knowledge of Javascript, HTML and CSS - Experience deploying and monitoring software across different environments using cloud infrastructure and automated tools - Creative thinking and problem solving - Being hands-on with source code and tools, performing code reviews, mentoring and training other team members on appropriate practices for SonarQube, Jenkins, etc.
