Presales Role - Storage & Infra Virtualization (2-3 Yrs) Bangalore (Pre-Sales)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :- Work closely with Sales/Technical team for solution selling- Should be able to work independently or work with the team in identifying and qualifying business opportunities.- Client interaction for requirement gathering and understanding existing infrastructure. Doing the solution presentations to the customer.- Should be able to identify key customer technical objections & resolve technical gaps much in advance.- Study the competitive solution and do battle card analysis.- Interact with technology partner OEMs for solution design and positioning- Should be able to do sizing based on customer requirement, prepare or Validate BOQ.- Should be able to analyse the existing RFPs/RFQs which are part of a tender and understand the qualifying technical compliance and suggest the solution.- Should be ready to work for extended hours - in critical situations (on-demand).- Learn new technologies and complete competencies as and when required by the companyTechnology/vertical exposure :- Should have good communication and presentation skills.- Should be well versed with technologies like storage, backup, virtualization, HCI, private cloud.- Preferably have deployed/supported at least one of these technologies on the field in the past profiles. Have hands-On experience on solutions from any of the OEM like DELLEMC, NetApp, Commvault, IBM, Veritas, Nutanix, Having knowledge of Unix/ Linux and cloud technologies is an added advantage.- Preferably achieved some Prometric Certification in any of the above OEM technologies.- Should be ready to travel as when required within India and Abroad.- Should be a quick learner & should have the ability to adapt new technical skills, passion for technologies and reading the technical documents for constantly updating the technical skills.Minimum Work Experience:- Total 4-5 years of experience in supporting/positioning data center solution- Minimum work experience of : 2-3 years & above as a Sr. Storage Administrator and/or presales activities.- Diploma - 7 - 8 years of experienceQualification:- Diploma/Engineering Degree/Information Technology/Computer Science/Computer Bachelors/Master s Degree in Science (Preferably Physics/ Computer Science) (ref:updazz.com)
