Position Title: Senior Manager : Manufacturing / DGM : Manufacturing
Position Overview:
The Manufacturing Head for the Machine Tool Industry is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of manufacturing operations within the organization. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational expertise to ensure efficient and effective production processes while meeting quality standards, deadlines, and cost targets.
High level Job Objectives:

Plans and manages the overall production activities of a plant ensuring compliance to global standards.

Responsible for production schedules and performance indicators for measuring progresses.
:
Monitors daily operations to identify and resolve problem areas relating to staffing, scheduling, tooling, EHS, quality and production line arrangement.

Ensure Monthly sales via manufacturing and maintaining OTD. Responsible for Topline via Manufacturing and Sales Invoicing
:
Ensure and Closely monitor Project Management and hold Daily and Weekly meetings to deliver Projects on time.

Responsible for various departments like Production, Production Planning, Inhouse Assembly, Outsourse Assembly, Electrical Engineering, Quality, Inhouse Manufacturing, Paint Booth, Packing and Dispatch

In charge of people development. Ensure the shopfloor discipline. Adhere to the all the department KPIs.

Providing technical expertise and lead the technical discussion and provide the technical solutions to customers during the pre:sales and post:sales phases.
:
Work closely with sales team, customers, and internal engineering departments to understand customer requirements, propose technical solutions, and ensure successful implementation of products or services and lead the technical services group and provide the timely guidance to the technical service team.

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize manufacturing processes, improve productivity, and enhance overall operational efficiency.

Production Management: Oversee the day:to:day manufacturing operations, including production scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management to meet production targets and customer demands.

Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance with regulatory requirements throughout the manufacturing process. Implement quality control measures to minimize defects and ensure product quality.

Cost Management: Monitor manufacturing costs, identify areas for cost reduction, and implement cost:saving initiatives without compromising quality or efficiency.

Team Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to the manufacturing team, including hiring, training, and performance management, to foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and efficiency enhancements. Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations and reduce waste.

Vendor Management: Manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and components, negotiate contracts, and resolve any issues or disputes.
