Job Description
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing the sales operations within the assigned region.- This role involves leading a sales team, developing and executing sales strategies, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets in the two-wheeler industry.Key Responsibilities :Sales Strategy Development :- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve regional sales targets and revenue growth.- Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to expand the customer base and increase market share.Team Leadership :- Lead, mentor, and motivate the regional sales team to achieve individual and collective sales goals.- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and training to team members.- Market Analysis:- Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies and tactics.- Monitor and evaluate regional sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet targets.Client Relationship Management :- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, dealers, and distributors.- Address and resolve client issues and inquiries to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.Sales Execution :- Oversee the execution of sales plans and promotional activities within the region.- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales activities, including forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance metrics.Collaboration :- Work closely with marketing, product management, and operations teams to align sales initiatives with company objectives.- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective execution of sales programs and campaigns.Budget Management:- Manage the regional sales budget, including expenses related to sales activities, promotions, and travel.- Ensure cost-effective use of resources to maximize return on investment.Reporting and Analysis :- Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and strategic initiatives to senior management.
-Analyze sales data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.Compliance :- Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements in all sales activities.- Maintain high standards of ethical conduct and professionalism in dealings with clients and partners.Preferred Qualifications :- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.- Proven track record in sales management within the two-wheeler industry or a similar sector.- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive performance and achieve results.- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to analyze market trends and data to make informed decisions.- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.- Willingness to travel within the region as required.
