JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Technician Helper to assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of internet services for residential and commercial customers. The Technician Helper will work closely with senior technicians to support the deployment of internet infrastructure, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure optimal network performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist senior technicians in the installation and maintenance of internet service equipment (routers, modems, cables, etc.)
2. Support in troubleshooting and resolving connectivity issues for customers.
3. Help with the installation of fiber optic cables, satellite dishes, or other internet-related hardware.
4. Assist in testing and configuring internet connections to ensure proper functioning.
5. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of network systems to prevent issues.
6. Assist with the repair or replacement of faulty equipment and cabling.
7. Provide customer support by answering basic inquiries related to internet service.
8. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools and equipment.
9. Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working at customer premises.
10. Document completed tasks and communicate with the senior technician regarding project status.
11. Assist in maintaining inventory of tools, parts, and materials required for service tasks.
