Job Description: Senior Inside Sales EngineerLocation:Advantech Industrial Computing India Pvt. Ltd., Office No. 104, The Core, NIBM chowk, NIBM Rd, Kondhwa, Pune, Maharashtra - 411048Overview:Advantech is seeking a Senior Inside Sales Engineer to drive sales efforts for its innovative industrial automation, IoT, and embedded systems solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in B2B sales. The role involves generating new sales opportunities, providing technical support to customers, and contributing to Advantech s growth by offering tailored solutions for industrial automation and IoT systems.Key Responsibilities:1. Achieve Sales Quotas:o Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas through proactive selling efforts, including both inbound lead follow-ups and outbound cold calling and emailing.2. Lead Generation and Opportunity Management:- Source and qualify new sales opportunities by engaging with inbound leads and prospecting outbound customers.- Understand and assess customer needs to offer tailored automation, IoT, and embedded system solutions.3. Customer Needs Understanding:- Gather and analyze customer requirements, providing clear and concise technical explanations to ensure the right solutions are offered.4. Order Conversion:- Transform customer inquiries into orders, driving revenue growth and ensuring customer satisfaction.5. Timely Customer Support:- Provide quick responses to customer inquiries through various channels, including service calls, online chat, and support emails, particularly for automation system-related products.6. Product Training and Presentations:- Conduct product training sessions and presentations for clients, ensuring that they are knowledgeable about Advantech s offerings and their applications.7. Effective Online Presentations:- Deliver online presentations to prospects, demonstrating the value and technical capabilities of Advantech products and solutions.8. CRM & Support Portal Management:- Maintain an up-to-date customer database and track sales progress using CRM tools (e.g., Siebel), ensuring accurate documentation of customer interactions and sales activities.Required Skills & Qualifications:Education: Bachelor s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.Experience :- 4-6 years of proven experience in B2B Sales in a technical or industrial sector, ideally within automation, IoT, or embedded systems.- Technical Expertise:- Strong understanding of automation control systems, IoT hardware/software architecture, system implementation, and industrial communication.- Sales Expertise:- In-depth understanding of the sales cycle, from lead generation and nurturing to converting opportunities into sales.- Communication Skills:- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts and build relationships with clients.- Presentation & Listening Skills:- Strong presentation skills for product demonstrations and the ability to actively listen to customer needs and provide effective solutions.- Lead Generation and Sales Conversion:- Experience with lead generation, nurturing leads, and converting them into sales opportunities.Domain & Industry:- Domain: Industrial Automation: The role focuses on selling automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency in various industries.
