Job Description
Role Description This is a full-time on-site role as a Branch Manager located in Ahmedabad. The Branch Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the branch, managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving branch goals. The role involves working closely with the corporate office to implement strategies and drive business growth.
Qualifications
- Leadership and Management skills
- Knowledge of Freight Forwarding and Logistics operations
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills
- Sales and Business Development skills
- Problem-solving and Decision-making abilities
- Bachelor 's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Branch Operations & Management
- Supervise daily branch activities to ensure smooth operations and compliance .
- Implement policies, procedures, and quality standards .
- Ensure proper cash flow, stock management, and financial controls .
- Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive customer acquisition & retention .
- Monitor market trends and competition to optimize product/service offerings .
- Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Recruit, train, and manage branch staff .
- Set individual and team performance goals and monitor progress.
- Motivate and coach employees to enhance productivity and job satisfaction .
- Customer Relationship Management
- Ensure high-quality customer service and resolve client issues effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders .
- Implement customer engagement initiatives to enhance loyalty and satisfaction .
- Financial Management & Reporting
- Monitor branch financial performance , budgets, and expenses.
- Analyze sales reports, profit margins, and operational costs .
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management.
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards .
- Manage branch audits, safety measures, and risk assessments .
- Handle escalations, disputes, and any operational challenges.
